We love finding inspiration from repurposed object. Thomas Maguire, a designer from Discovery World shared this with us today. An elephant made of old soap bottle. (Designed by Lori Resch) It is really nicely crafted and color is perfect!
ACCD south campus on Raymond, Pasadena has a famous wind tunnel. Huge space totally out of scale. Sometimes it is helpful to see the human scale.
This week is Art Center's week 14. (final week of semester) We thought it would be nice to share snapshots from different presentations throughout the week. This one is from Product Design 1 taught by Norm Schureman and Laura Dye. Assignment was to design a bird house/feeder. Some really clever ideas and also very elaborative presentation.
New item is toy box. Ceramic white board from See Jane Work. Came with a erasable pen and small enough to sit next to a laptop. Great sustainable alternative to paper memo pads.

X-mas tree by Buro North is a good alternative for the living Christmas tree. We usually get ones from Trader Joe's but maybe this year... we will go for this version.
