Robert Irwin
We had an opportunity to catch the last day of Robert Irwin exhibit at Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego. A lot of his work play with illusions and perceptions... make you feel very dizzy if you stare at them too long.

Followed Audrey's rabbit hall to Theme Magazine and ended up here!
Commercial from BMW South Africa starring TEDTalks star Theo Jansen.
Concept sustainable phone from Nokia. It looks quite sleek.
"We will be compelled to reuse and celebrate what is essentially “above ground”. Thus we explored the use of reclaimed and upcycled materials that could ultimately change the way we make things.
In remade, recycled materials from metal cans, plastic bottles, and car tyres are used beautifully; whilst helping reduce landfill and preserving natural resources. The concept also addresses cleaner engine technologies, and energy efficiency through power saving graphics."
Looking for a cool way of visualizing the "city". Came across this one, The Embassy VW. Feels like city is alive!
Audrey Liu, Nathan Cook and and I started this new blog called Orange Juice as a collaborative pool to collect and share inspiration/creativity/design during and after life at art center. We will be co-authors of this new blog and will be looking for more co-authors who would like to participate (so far we recruited Frido to be a part)! We feel that this will be a great place to expand our network, bounce ideas and just a cool communal place to hang out:)
Cheers!
Thought the opening paragraph was pretty brilliant so wanted to share it with you. "Questioning" is a really interesting component in a creative process. (Browsed through the contents but wasn't too crazy about how he framed the concept of questions.)
“Those who ask ‘why’ are typically more holistic or whole-brained thinkers, those who ask ‘how’ are typically more box thinkers, and those who ask ‘why not’ are typically the challenging thinkers. All types, of course, are equally valuable and equally required for innovation!”
