Now we have to learn how to interpret Information w/AI

Thecloud "The Cloud is an organic sculptural that responds to human interaction and expresses context awareness using hundreds of sensors and over 15,000 individually addressable optical fibers." via: core77
We have tried Smart technology to understand what "we" want. Now we have to be sensitive and listen to what "they" are saying. ("they"=Information w/AI)

Polaroid PoGo

Home_banner_v3 Digital Polaroid PoGo. Coming out to the market in July! Not sure if it will ever replace the feel of original Polaroid (the sound when it takes the pic, anticipation to see how the picture comes out...) but maybe it doesn't have to. It carries some of the key attributes original Polaroid had and more.
- (almost) Instant
- No ink (They use technology called Zink)
- Portable, sleek, easy to use (or as it seems)

It might open up the new and more broader avenue for Polaroid brand. Some examples...?
- Taking PoGo to your vacation (Has over-sized original Polarid ever come with you in the suitcase?)
- Spontaneous collaging using your own pictures
- Use it as a prop for outdoor b-day party? (where there is no electric plug for other photo printers)
- Getting picture taken by your cell phone finally printed!!! (They have a great video called Free your Photos)

How would you use it?

twitter movie

Thought the presentation style is clever. Looks like it's possible to mock something like this very very quickly. Also wondering... if we should give another try to twitter.

Nokia remade

2085059868_d35a78ee0c_oConcept sustainable phone from Nokia. It looks quite sleek.

"We will be compelled to reuse and celebrate what is essentially “above ground”. Thus we explored the use of reclaimed and upcycled materials that could ultimately change the way we make things.

In remade, recycled materials from metal cans, plastic bottles, and car tyres are used beautifully; whilst helping reduce landfill and preserving natural resources. The concept also addresses cleaner engine technologies, and energy efficiency through power saving graphics."

RFID anyone???

Clothtag"Since most people don't read laundry care tags (a whopping 70%) there's a good chance that lots of good clothing gets ruined in the wash. Samgmin Bae designed a tag using RFID technology. The clothing can 'communicate' with RFID-enabled washers, dryers, irons and dry cleaning equipment. The RFID circuitry is also laid out so it visually communicates the care instructions, too - nice little touch!"
